fri. night we took yuee's japanese visitors from work to a h.s. football game -- plano east (grace's alma mater!) vs. lake highlands. turned out to be quite an intense and close game w/ two overtimes but finally, victory was the panther's: 38-37. the japanese guys seemed pretty amused. they also did their notorious ohhhhing&ahhhhing over the iphone as it's still to come in asia. :D game was played at murphy's semi-new tom kimbrough stadium which we've passed by numerous times and finally got to check out.
the luminous moon high above the arena reminded us that it's mid-autumn festival this month. happy moon caking, everyone! random trivia from g: taro was apparently the first food discovered at night in the moonlight, according to legend. thus, it was never to be omitted from the mid-autumn festival. :)
