it's the asian supermarket wars. we're reaping the chinky foodiness w/ the new ranch 99 and asia world food court just a stone's throw away. finally, snow ice has come to dallas! not as good as vancouver's but maybe still perfecting? temporary (or long-term?) froyo replacement. :) oh and a malaysian/singaporean fast food-ish cafe. y says not bad but not entirely authentic.
we'll kick off another year for g on labor day next monday with a ... triathlon. decided a couple of weeks ago to go ahead and do it so have been officially training. somewhat. what better way to say age is just a number? haha. it'll be her first, his nth...
broke down and got road bikes. matching. :) good deals, though, w/ sun & ski offering tax-free on equipment during texas' tax holiday.
july/august has been quite the season for newborns & aging... celebrating life. and the Giver. :)
been having quite some biking adventures w/ j&d, some a bit extreme and not so safe. if only dallas & 'burbs were more biker-friendly... sigh. no more runs/races 'til fall. it's waaaay too triply-digit hot. we're considering a tri -- if g can swim better. :P
oh, and happy 2nd, dptree! continuing to grow forth and bear stinky fruit... haha. enjoying it so; most grateful for the interesting jobs and incredible clients we get to work with.
