we went on our own little day (well, night) trip yesterday to keller, tx to look @ cars. driving for what seemed like miles, it certainly felt like we were no longer in texas.
ended the eve @ rainforest cafe where we both recalled that the last time we were there, we knew not of the other.
a spontaneous, but welcomed, date night it was. :)
tomorrow: more car browsing; oikos potluck/praise/prayer nite @ our place. sun.: summer duathlon #1 @ white rock; softball yes for y maybe for g.
unsure about going to dccyc this year given yuee's work situation, we nonetheless found ourselves madly packing last friday and brisking off to lone star, texas given the apparent counselor shortage.
color us minty vintage; our kids are now serving as counselors alongside us! that shock absorbed, the blessing remains -- years of sowing are reaping. as He has promised. glorious. for Our Glorious.
