'tis already been a month+ since:
- christine's return from india. finally got to meet up with her one-on-one and hear all the His-stories. :)
- melbin's wedding. was fun shooting as a kinda, sorta team. as a hobby yes, but professionally no. we confirmed that consulting/IT architecturing and design/writing are still our obsessive passions. and oddly, the two make a complementary pair somehow as they converge on internet/media.
- we lived like guests in our own home. so much so that we almost didn't want to return to the master when our bathroom was done. but we are fancying much the two-toned lavender (taro-tinted, she claims :P), luscious retreat it's become.
saw the stars again this past weekend w/ gifted tix for our opsol involvement. witnessed a 3-1 win from really good seats. dcfc young adult gathered @ our place sat. nite for large group. we've got an identity: oikos! conceived on our mormon ski/board trip and now consecrated by the gang. much more to come in the months ahead. :)
vancouver's face has morphed to barcelona w/ recent ever-volatile plans @ y's co. vamos a españa...

Ever faithful
Ever true
You [we] know
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go
You never let go
...
Oh, [our] soul
Overflows
Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, [our] soul
Fills hope
Perfect love that never lets go
Oh, what love, oh, what love
Oh, what love, oh, what love
In joy and pain
In sun and rain
You're the same
Oh, You never let go

another year gone by; time passes; but He ... He is steadfast. happy 2008! may we cling to Him as He holds fast to us.
in the wee a.m. hours, after a run to the pac lock-in, we began the new year with a second farewell to daniel l., yuee's protege of sorts. from a troubled, rebellious youth to a determined, fervent young man, he returned to his canada five years ago. y then believed he had perhaps been the man mission for him in dallas, that it was time to move on. grace kept him here. daniel returns this year, finds a job, from kid to grown-up, enters the same life stage as us; y is elated, looking forward to serving with him. but d.c. calls to daniel and he's gone again. this time, we say goodbye together. it's not the end, though.
life's movements are so unpredictable, twisty-turny. but we embrace the captivating labyrinth.
because.
You never let go.
